You will offer a solid background within a similar field where you have been responsible for evaluating new agreements, identifying cost savings and negotiating heavily on payment terms. Working closely with the Operations Director this position also involves managing stock levels, sourcing new ingredients and accurate record keeping. This is a very key role to the business and therefore the successful candidate must be commercially aware and dedicated to the business objectives and making a difference to the bottom line.

Position	Production Engineer

Job Description: Production Engineer required by my client based in Devon who are leaders in their field. The main purpose of this position is to maintain and control production and quality systems. The position will be responsible for the following : -  Producing work instructions and training production assembly staff of the new products being introduced.  Defining quality standards, overseeing goods inwards and liaising with suppliers should issues arise.  Working closely with external consultants and customers and producing drawings and quotations for bespoke devices.  Continuously development existing products and streamlining processes for lean purposes. The successful candidate will offer : -  A proven background working within mechanical manufacturing engineering or design engineering.  Knowledge of 3D CAD systems  Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.  Excellent Communication skills.  Be technically minded

Position	Maintenance Engineer

Job Description: My client has gone through some considerable investment over the last five or six years and now boasts some of the most start of the art production machinery within their industry. They are currently looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to provide diagnostic breakdown cover and routine maintenance for the production machinery (including CNC, PC/PLC controlled) and general maintenance of site services and facilities. You will have experience of working within a similar role and will offer relevant formal qualifications, electrically biased but with good mechanical skills. The successful candidate must also have machine fault-finding and maintenance experience. Excellent team working skills and the ability to work in a fast moving production environment with competing and changing priorities. This position will involve providing cover during and outside of factory working hours (inc. evenings, after midnight during the week , and some Saturdays).
