Document Controller (part time)

My client, a regional contractor who are part of a national construction and regeneration group, is looking to appoint a part time Document Controller to join their expanding team based in Exeter on a temporary basis. With over £20million worth of works planned, this role will be on-going for the foreseeable future. This role will be based on a current live site based in Exeter.
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a document controller and be available at short notice. My client offers flexibility with hours, so if you have the skills required, we would love to hear from you.

- Manage and take responsibility for the document control system
- Set up, scan, manage and control electronic document management systems
- Liaise with project team and external designers, consultants and supply chain contractors
- Contribute to the administration of commercial tasks as required
- Monitor the status of documentation through the workflows and chase outstanding information where necessary
- Monitor the Client review process in line with contract requirements
- To manage contract documentation and correspondence
- To maintain accurate and comprehensive records and files of specified documentation in accordance with the administration manual Suitable candidate:
- Produce the technical numbering document for the project
- Establish and set up the folder structure & relevant work flows on 4Projects
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry
- Experience using 4Projects/Viewpoint is essential
- Strong IT skills in MS office including outlook, excel and word
- Understanding of the purpose of document control in the commercial management environment
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively within a large site team
