Financial Controller - Cathedral Appointments has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join a high growth Tech company in Exeter. The successful candidate will be tasked with the daily oversight of the Finance Department.
The role of Financial Controller is an ideal role for a forward thinking and ambitious accountant looking to take the next step in their career and join a fast paced, high growth SME. Applications are welcomed from candidates who have worked within tech, engineering, manufacturing and accountancy practice. Opportunity for 4 days a week is also a possibility. - Preparation of consolidated management accounts, annual budgets and forecasts
- Audit process management
- Management of all ledgers, journals, balance sheet recs and month end reviews
- Manage currency exposure and data compliance
- Manage working capital with focus on stock, debtors and cash management
- Responsibility for all journals, the month-end review and balance sheet reconciliations
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA fully qualified
- Similar industry experience – possibly high tech, engineering, manufacturing
- Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the FRS102 Standards
- Strong IT/Microsoft Excel
- Experience of automating and streamlining processes and systems.
