An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join the Exeter office of one of the largest housebuilders in the UK as an In-House Conveyancer. This role would suit either a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer who either has in-house experience or is looking to move away from private practice and into an in-house position.

- Reporting to the Head of the Legal Department and the Legal Manager
- Direct responsibility for managing and running a case load of plot sales (including part-exchange acquisitions and resales)
- Ensuring that the caseload is managed and conducted efficiently so as to achieve exchanges within the required timescales
- Preparing individual plot documentation and Part Exchange title reports
- Monitoring caseload and preparing reports as required
- Attending meetings with sales teams to review caseload
- Dealing with lease/transfer variations and reversion sales
- Dealing with post completion matters such as SDLT returns and Land Registration where necessary
- An experienced qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
- Previous experience of handling plot sales and dealing with related development matters for a house builder (either in house or in private practice) would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast paced environment
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with good IT skills
