Cathedral Appointments are currently looking to fill a Marketing & Events Co-ordinator position for their client based on the out skirts of Exeter. This is a great opportunity for someone to support this business at an exciting stage of growth and you will be involved in working in all areas of the marketing mix with a focus on event management, social media and email marketing support. Please note that this is initially a 12-month contract and our client is looking for someone to start in January 2020.
The successful candidate will have a confident manner and will thrive in a busy environment where no two days are the same. Our client will consider candidates who are looking for the first step in their marketing career, however, a commercial awareness and marketing knowledge is essential.

- Support the Marketing team in the effective delivery against product marketing and communications plans for our existing product portfolio, particularly supporting our UK primary care product offering.
- Manage and facilitate the businesses attendance at several external marketing events and exhibitions.
- Manage the social media planning and activity, utilising LinkedIn and Twitter to engage new and existing audiences.
- Provide email marketing campaign support to the Marketing team.
- Undertake ad hoc projects and work as directed by the Head of Marketing
- Experience of coordinating/organising events (in a work, university or other setting).
- At least some understanding of principles and practice in the areas of social media and email campaign management
- B2B marketing experience (only desirable as candidates from a B2C background or with no formal marketing experience as yet will still be considered).
- Strong and effective communicator – both verbal and written. Must be confident to deal professionally with internal and external customers at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skill and the ability to multi task effectively is essential.
- Able to travel on business as required.
