Cathedral Appointments are currently recruiting for a Raw Materials Technologist for an established food/drink manufacturing company based in Exeter. Reporting directly in to the Head of Technical this is an important and varied role where the Raw Materials Technologist will be expected to support the site with BRC accreditation along with raw material testing and quality assurance.

- Ensure related site documentation is up to date at all times
- Support the supplier approval process
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure all technical information is received
- Complete finished product specifications for new products
- Complete external supplier audit questionnaires
- Complete QA & Production data entry
- Work towards carrying out HACCP audits
- Provide technical support to the NPD department
- Food Technology or related qualification, ideally degree qualified
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience with basic HACCP principles
- Full driving license
- IT Literate with impeccable Microsoft Office skills
- Good communication skills & team working ability
- Able to work independently & proactively
