Cathedral Appointments, a leading South West recruitment consultancy, is proud to announce its official certification as a B Corporation (B Corp) joining a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact along with an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.

Achieving B Corp certification marks a major milestone in Cathedral Appointments’ ongoing commitment to doing business for good. As one of only a handful of B Corp-certified recruitment firms in the UK, the company is leading the way in redefining what success looks like in the recruitment sector.

“This certification reflects the values we’ve always lived by - doing right by our people, our clients, and our community,” said Joanne Caine, Managing Director. “Becoming a B Corp isn’t the end of the journey, it’s the start of a deeper commitment to positive impact in the South West and beyond.”

The B Corp journey involved a rigorous evaluation process covering five key impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. Led by Clodagh Murphy and with the support of the entire team, Cathedral Appointments embedded impact-led thinking across its entire business model, from ethical recruitment practices to employee wellbeing and local community engagement.

“We’re thrilled to join a growing movement of like-minded businesses who believe in using business as a force for good,” added Clodagh Murphy, Director of Cathedral Appointments.

As the business community becomes increasingly conscious of sustainable and values-led growth, Cathedral Appointments is proud to be leading by example.
