As a Conveyancer, you will oversee the legal process of buying and selling residential property, liaising with clients, lenders and estate agents and prepare the necessary legal documents.
You will ensure the smooth running of property transactions and work closely with clients to ensure needs are met in line with the required legal processes. You might be working to a qualified Residential Property Lawyer or Chartered Legal Executive who can authorise specific aspects of these transactions. It is possible to be qualified by experience or gain a professional qualification such as Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) or Chartered Licensed Conveyancer.
The average salary for a Conveyancer with five years PQE in the South West is around £30,000. This can range from £25,000 to £40,000 depending on the size of the firm, location and profile and clients.
