As a Corporate Lawyer, you will work with a varied client base, from small owner-managed businesses and start-ups to substantial to well established businesses and groups of companies. You will be handling a wide range of corporate matters including M&A, disposals, capital markets, private equity, reorganisations, joint ventures and investment funds.


Corporate Lawyer Average Salary Expectations

The average salary for a Corporate Lawyer in the South West is around £70,000. However, this can vary considerably depending on the size of the firm you work for. In small to medium firms, with more than 5 years post qualification experience (PQE), you can expect a salary of between £60,000 and £75,000. For a larger national firm, this could be between £70,000 and £85,000.
