Internal Sales (Telesales) Job Description
For an internal sales position, you will be responsible for handling existing clients and upselling on new services and products. You will deal with all inbound queries via phone and web and identify new business opportunities. You will build strong relationships with clients and address any problems and concerns that arise and maintain an accurate CRM database for clients.
This role could be titled Internal Sales Executive or Internal Sales Manager depending on the level of experience.

The average salary for an Internal Sales position in the South West is around £30,000. This can range from £20,000 to £40,000 depending on factors like experience, location, industry and company size. This role could also include commission on top of your annual salary.

- Negotiate business contracts, upsell services and products and maintain relationships to ensure an accurate CRM
- Handle inbound client calls and website queries, ensuring proper deal qualification
- Communicate effectively with clients to address and resolve any concerns

- Keep product and sales materials updated with the most accurate and relevant information
- Previous experience working in a hands on, internal sales environment
- You will be self-motivated, organised and able to meet challenging deadlines
- You work independently and use your own initiative, while working together as a team and collaborating with other departments
- You have a wide knowledge of the market and are able to respond to variable conditions
- IT skills and previous experience using a CRM are highly desirable
