As a Residential Property Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling legal matters related to buying, selling and managing residential properties.

You will draft and review contracts, conduct property searches, liaise with estate agents and prepare documentation including sale agreements, transfer deeds and mortgage documents.

Some firms employ Conveyancers (who may be CILEX or Chartered Licensed Conveyancer qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience) and a Residential Property Lawyer will typically sign off or supervise work undertaken by colleagues in the team.
