Residential Property Lawyer Job Description
As a Residential Property Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling legal matters related to buying, selling and managing residential properties.
You will draft and review contracts, conduct property searches, liaise with estate agents and prepare documentation including sale agreements, transfer deeds and mortgage documents.
Some firms employ Conveyancers (who may be CILEX or Chartered Licensed Conveyancer qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience) and a Residential Property Lawyer will typically sign off or supervise work undertaken by colleagues in the team.

- Actively contributing to the firm’s business development strategy by attending networking events and engage in development activities.
- Qualified Residential Property Solicitor or equivalent with prior experience in residential property transactions
- Ability to run files independently and liaise with clients and third parties
- Self-motivated, professional and perceptive with ability to work under pressure with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Desire to learn and grow your skillset in the residential property sector
