Sales Executive Job Description
As a Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include ensuring a seamless onboarding processes for new clients and identifying opportunities to add to the sales pipeline. You will conduct market research, competitor analysis and work with the Sales Manager(s) to arrange meetings and create sales documents. You will work to deliver the sales strategy outlined by the Head of Sales.
This role often reports into a Sales Manager or to the wider team lead, for example a Head of Sales or Sales Director.

The average salary for a Sales Executive in the South West is around £25,000. This can range from £20,000 to £30,000 depending on factors like experience, location, industry and company size. This role could also include commission on top of your annual salary.

- Conduct market research to identify opportunities to upsell or reach new clients and customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Support the sales managers with sales outreach and pipeline management
- Conduct competitor analysis and spot opportunities for the team to develop
- Research networking, partnerships and business development opportunities
- Previous experience of working in a sales environment (retail or customer service) beneficial
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with CRM systems will be an advantage
- Be self-motivated and ambitious, driven by achieving targets and KPIs
- Comfortable working in a business setting and working in fast-paced environments
- Good conversational skills, both in person and via phone
