Software Developer Job Description
As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions for a business. You will perform code reviews and recommend improvements to current designs and systems. You will work closely with other members of the development team to optimise the process, write code and analyse suggestions.

- Design and develop software solutions, working closely with Product team and stakeholders to understand and implement customer requirements
- Create and perform code reviews and undertake development testing of written code to ensure quality and functionality
- Review emerging trends and recommend improvements to designs, performing critical assessments and analysis of suggestions
- Be accountable within a development team, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Work on server-side systems, real-time data processing and optimisation and manage the deployment and upkeep of service
- Proven working knowledge of analysis and design
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and working within a DevOps environment is beneficial
- Experience reading and writing to large SQL/mySQL databases using ORM tools
- Knowledge and experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies, including building unit and regression tests
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting in meetings and experience with coaching and mentoring others
