September Jobs Outlook and the Rise of Temporary Recruitment in the Short Term

The September edition of the REC’s Jobs Outlook highlighted the significant shift towards temporary workers over the short term.

This has been tied to the lack of employer confidence in the UK economy, demonstrated by the graph below.

We have also experienced a significant number of requests for temporary workers and expect this to continue in the wake of the current political and economic volatility.
